Embedded systems have to master specific challenges such as high requirements for reliability, ensuring functional safety, and implementing strict real-time requirements. In addition, software for embedded systems must be adaptable to support different product variants and continuous development.

This training focuses on a consistent, methodical approach for architecture design that considers not only the software architecture but also central aspects of the system architecture. In addition, the training provides specific solution approaches and patterns for the implementation of quality requirements.

The content corresponds to the CPSA Advanced Level module EMBEDDED published by the ISAQB^®:

Prerequisites

Experience in the development of software for embedded systems, basic foundations of software architecture, such as those provided by the seminar "iSAQB^® Certified Professional for Software Architecture – Foundation Level".

Examination

The seminar is licensed in accordance with the "iSAQB^® Certified Professional for Software Architecture – Advanced Level" EMBEDDED module.
The seminar provides 10 credit points for "methodical skills" and 20 credit points for "technological skills".
