Marquardt

The automotive industry now requires SPICE conformant development processes for embedded systems that are to achieve Level 3 in accordance with ISO/IEC 15504. The process definitions existing at Marquardt were to be revised according to this requirement. The initial focus here was on adapting the requirements engineering process. Afterward, non-tool-specific methods and process training were to be used to teach Marquardt employees this new requirements engineering process. A crucial building block in system development is understanding, documenting and managing customer requirements. At Marquardt, this was done with established, consistent requirements management.
