Manuel Ernst

The open-minded

"My favorite thing to do is throw out the established and try new things."

Manuel Ernst is a Senior Software Engineer at Method Park. In the Mobile Apps & Web Apps team, he supports customers in the development of internet-based systems. He works on server infrastructures, develops APIs, and implements highly scalable systems. His passions are front-end development and cloud-based systems. He knows React, Typescript, node.js, and the Google cloud platform like the back of his hand.

With a good feeling for what is feasible, Manuel Ernst enriches every project with great ideas and top work. So it's no wonder that customers specifically request him for their project.

But things only get really exciting for Manuel Ernst when he can try out new technologies. He is not afraid of anything, likes to venture into unfamiliar territory, and becomes acquainted with the unknown exceptionally quickly. Particularly when faced with new problems, Manuel Ernst demonstrates his initiative, creativity, and willingness to experiment.

His favorite projects are those in which he can analyze the strengths and weaknesses of established, monolithic systems and, if necessary, develop new best practices. The know-how and skills he acquires there are excellent for Manuel Ernst to pass on to teammates and customers. These communication skills help him in mentoring young employees, leading courses, and writing professional articles.

His certifications:

  • ISTQB® Certified Tester – Foundation Level
  • iSAQB® Certified Professional for Software Architecture – Foundation Level

He leads the following course:

  • React and Redux – Hands-on Workshop for Web Development
