Participants learn how to implement dynamic cloud-native architectures, container application design, logging/monitoring/alerting, container-native storage, and UI integration options. The training course explains typical concepts of current container managers and how to use them to implement common quality criteria for larger web applications. We will classify current cloud providers, demonstrate automation possibilities, and discuss software development approaches and the application lifecycle.CLOUDINFRA focuses on operating aspects. The concepts for the architecture design and implementation described in the CLOUDINFRA module are outlined where necessary for understanding.

Contents

This iSAQB CLOUDINFRA training course for the advanced level answers the question: "How to design and implement dynamic cloud-native architectures?". It explains the reasons for operating and the advantages and disadvantages of clouds. Participants will gain an in-depth understanding of cloud-native architectures, container application design, logging/monitoring/alerting, container-native storage, and UI integration options. The training course explains typical concepts of current container managers and how to use them to implement standard quality criteria for larger web applications. The content corresponds to the syllabus published by the iSAQB e.V. in July 2018 (version 1.1):• Fundamentals of modern infrastructures• Common architectural concepts• Cloud Native Journey• Helpful patterns• Development, CI/CD, and operations• Automation• Case studyIn addition to technological aspects, organizational and social factors are an integral part of the training course.

Target audience

• Software architects• Software designers• System analysts• Technical project managers
