The Siemens Industry Sector Mobility Division (Erlangen) is the leading international supplier of transport and logistics concepts. With "complete mobility" the division aims at combining different transport systems to be able to transport people and goods efficiently and ecologically. "Complete mobility" focuses on the aim of achieving sustainability; it combines competences for railway and road traffic management systems, solutions for airport and mail logistics, railway electrification, rail vehicles in local, regional and long-distance transport, turnkey systems and forward-looking service concepts. With around 25,000 employees worldwide, Siemens Mobility earned turnover of EUR 6.4 billion in the 2009 financial year (30 September 2009). (www.siemens.com/mobility)The task on hand for Method Park Software AG was to make qualified contributions during the setting up of a requirement management system in the Mobility Division and to give on-site support to the people with responsibility. A special challenge was to establish a system of requirement management in five business units operating in different business segments (high-speed trains, traffic guidance systems, locomotives, baggage conveyor systems, etc.), with 25,000 employees at various locations in various regions. This is why the development of the requirement management methods and processes in the business units had to be organized extremely flexibly and at the same time comply with the guidelines which were valid division-wide.

Method Park was competent in advising us on setting up the project. The Method Park employees integrated themselves outstandingly in existing structures and performed excellent content-related construction work with what already existed.
