Systems Engineer (m/f/d)

What to expect at Method Park
Do you love complexity? In interdisciplinary projects about new industrial developments, you hold all the various strands together and keep the overview? You see complex IT systems not only as the sum of their parts, but you also ensure optimization of the overall system? Whether individual modules or entire application systems: You sit in the control center of product development and support the entire process from conception and production over the operation to the future reuse of products?
Welcome to the team Systems Engineering!
In this team, you take on responsibility for implementing all requirements, including technical, economic or social aspects, up until the rollout. You coordinate the individual specialist departments which are involved in the project. You act as a “human interface” between hard- and software development – you bring the compatibility between the system and development environment to perfection. In this process, you bear the end user in mind, the so-called human-computer interaction (MCI).
What will you work on?
You will cover several roles at the same time: you are the project manager who organizes and controls workflows. You are the analyst who defines the requirements specifications and ensures compliance. You are the risk manager: Quality assurance includes not only regular system checks and the implementation of additional test systems, but also the system modelling in advance and the implementation of simulations to prevent errors and assess potential risks throughout the life-cycle. You keep an eye on everything: operation, costs, time schedule, performance, system design, and integration or support. According to your project, you will work together in a team with other Systems Engineers. While everyone is specializing in individual production areas, in this case, your decisions ultimately determine whether the product will be successful or not.
What we expect from you:
- Are you familiar with the typical activities of requirement engineering? Perfect!
- Are you experienced in both classic and agile project management?
- You know FMEA, FTA, and other types of risk management?
- You model systems (HW/SW/Mech) and have experience in MBSE.
- For you, soft skills are more than just nice to have.
- We know, no one is born a master! If you only have experience in some of the points mentioned above, we are looking forward to your application!
