VariantWorld in Berlin in April 2019
After the successful initial and following events in 2017 and 2018, the German publisher HANSER Verlag and Method Park again invite all those interested to join the expert conference around challenges of variant management in 2019.
This conference focuses on processes and methods for the management of variant diversity and product complexity, as well as best practices and roll out strategies for systems engineering. In addition, presentations, panel discussions, an open space and the accompanying exhibition present solutions of individual industries and current research developments.
The program includes the following thematic blocks:
- Holistic variant management
- Updates in the product life cycle
- Potential application of artificial intelligence
- Best practices for the management of variants and complexity
In his presentation, Stefan Hengelein of Method Park focuses on the consistency of the Linux Kconfig model.
Like in the previous years, the conference management of VariantWorld.2019 is led by Prof. Dr. Ina Schaefer of the Institute for Software Engineering and Automotive IT of the Technical University Braunschweig and Dr. Tobias Kästner of Method Park, member of the advisory board.
