IBM Watson IoT Continuous Engineering Summit Europe in Munich in May 2018
At the CE Summit, visitors and participants learn more about detailed technical contents of the recent technologies for Continuous Engineering (CE), the Internet of Things (IoT), and Digital Twins. Presentations and practical exercises expand the knowledge of participants on recent technologies, trends and topics such as artificial intelligence and engineering, development and engineering best practices or change and configuration management.
“Engineering Excellence” is the title of the presentation held by Ingo Lachner and Arne Bister of the Method Park technical sales team (May 14; 2:00 p.m., room 5).
From their abstract: While an increasing number of production processes are automated within the context of Industry 4.0, engineering processes, relevant for innovation and competitive advantages, still include activities which are primarily performed by humans. Which process management organizes such engineering processes in a reproducible, comparable, and complete form? How to build a reusable process architecture which allows for practical and standard-compliant execution by humans? The speakers answer these questions with a specific example of an integration of the process management solution Stages by Method Park and IBM Rational Team Concert. They demonstrate which steps can be reasonably automated in creative engineering processes, too.
Please find program details on the event website.
As a sponsor of the CE Summit, Method Park presents its product Stages and its services at the accompanying exhibition. Visitors learn more about how to reduce complexity of their processes with Stages.
