Embedded Testing in Munich in June 2018

The fourth Embedded Testing takes place on June 20 and 21 in Munich. This conference particularly focuses on testing in the embedded environment. There, Iris Kellermann and Lutz Marquardt from Method Park give a presentation on the work routine of a software engineer.

Several conferences deal with the topic of software testing or general aspects of embedded systems. The Embedded Testing is a unique conference focusing on the testing of embedded systems. The number of embedded systems in safety-relevant fields of application such as medical technology, aerospace or automotive has exponentially increased during the last years. Industry 4.0 and IoT accelerate this growth. The Embedded Testing deals with this development.

The conference includes topics such as unit testing, static code analyses, regression and integration tests, norms and liability risks. A pre-conference on June 19 deals with Model Based Testing .

The Method Park engineers Iris Kellermann und Lutz Marquardt give the closing keynote of this pre-conference  (4:10 p.m.). In their presentation, they present the typical situations of a software engineer’s work routine and demonstrate which effects some decisions have. In the form of a role-playing game, the speakers actively involve their audience into their presentation.
