ELIV-Marketplace in Baden-Baden in October 2018

The German VDI Knowledge Forum invites all those interested to join this year’s ELIV Marketplace on October 16 and 17 in Baden Baden. Method Park joins the accompanying exhibition with its booth and Method Park experts give presentations and moderate a Round Table in the World Café.

ELIV 2018 combines three conferences on automotive electronics: “E/E in Cars”, “EE in Commercial Vehicles” and “E/E in Mobile Work Machines”. After a joint introduction in the first conference morning, the conference splits up into three parallel thematic blocks where the participants can choose between over 60 specialist presentations.

The thematic block “cars” of the conference is divided into three parallel tracks and focuses on Autonomous Driving (session 1), Software – Safety – Security (session 2) and Mechatronics V1,2-V1,200 (session 3). Two additional tracks treat the topics E/E in commercial vehicles and E/E in mobile work machines.

In session 2, Method Park Expert Engineer Dr. Tobias Kästner explains in his presentation why blockchain will get a lot of things moving in the automotive industry (10/17/18, 5:30 p.m.).

For the first time, ELIV offers so-called Round Tables in the World Café: In small groups, participants can discuss individual topics in the foyer of the congress house. Prof. Dr. Bernd Hindel, CEO of the Method Park Group, and Dr. Tobias Kästner will moderate the topic “Blockchain in Automobiles” (10/16/18, 5:30 p.m.) at Round Table 7.

Conference manager of the ELIV MarketPlace will be Dr. Wolfgang Runge, head of the Executive Board at Method Park. The program is available as a pdf.

The presentations, Round Tables and the exhibition accompanying the conference reflect trends and developments in electrics and electronics of cars, commercial vehicles and mobile work machines.

At the Method Park booth, participants can get informed about services regarding Agile, AUTOSAR, Safety & Security. In a live demonstration, Method Park presents the new version of its process management tool “Stages”. Participants will find Method Park on the first floor right next to the staircase at booth no. 40.

For the first conference evening, the VDI Knowledge Forum invites all participants to join an evening event in the festival theatre in Baden Baden.
