ASQF Professional Group Automotive Meeting Berlin/Brandenburg in March 2018

The first meeting of the ASQF Professional Group Automotive takes place in Berlin/Brandenburg on March 20. Under the motto “Testing in 2020”, Dr. Erhardt Wunderlich of Bombardier Transportation gives a presentation about the future of software testing in the automotive industry.

In his presentation, Dr. Erhardt Wunderlich addresses questions like “Which functionalities will future cars have?” or “How will we use cars in future?”

Different buzzwords are already named in this context: “autonomous driving”, “Car2x”, “Platooning”, “Level 5 Autonomy”.

The automotive industry is becoming increasingly complex and so testing of relevant functionality becomes more complex and expensive. What can we do to limit testing efforts to the necessary minimum? Which test technologies will we apply in this environment in future? Do we need “other” testers?

We would like to discuss these questions and many others at our professional group meeting.

The professional group meeting is open to everyone and free for all participants. Heiko Zastrau, Principal Consultant at Method Park, is the head of this professional group. On behalf of the ASQF, he merely asks participants to register for the meeting for planning purposes on the ASQF website.
