SPICE^® for Hardware Engineering

The introductory training demonstrates how to use Automotive SPICE^® for process improvement in hardware engineering with the intacs^® plug-in.

This training to become an intacs^®-certified Hardware SPICE^® Assessor provides participants with a concise overview of Hardware SPICE^®, which can be integrated into Automotive SPICE^® using the Hardware Development plug-in. This model makes it possible to develop automotive electronic hardware systematically and.

Aimed at Automotive SPICE^® assessors and experts, this training explains the main concepts underlying the Automotive SPICE^® standard and the details of each process using examples and exercises.

Participants gain first-hand knowledge from experts who were directly involved in setting up the Hardware Development plug-in for Automotive SPICE^®. A working group of the intacs^® assessor cooperative developed the plug-in.

• Participants who pass the exam will receive a certification of competence. Participants who have base PAM certification (Process Expert, Provisional Assessor, Competent Assessor, Principal Assessor) can get an updated assessor card with an HWE mark.
• For online trainings, all materials are offered digitally. For in-person trainings, all materials are offered digitally.
• Participants will also receive Automotive SPICE^® Goes Mechatronics, a pocket guide containing the processes recommended for the development of mechatronic systems. The booklet includes purposes, outcomes and generic practices.
