Deepen your knowledge of agile principles and their application in mature development processes.
This training introduces Agile SPICE®, the agile model extension for Automotive SPICE®, to expand Automotive SPICE® assessors’ knowledge so they can use it conjunction with agile practices. This training is designed for intacs®-certified assessors of all levels who have experience in agile principles. The training is a prerequisite to the Competent- and Principal-level requirement to lead an assessment using Agile SPICE®.
Agile SPICE® can help agile organizations:
- Explain process capability requirements in agile environments, especially in the automotive industry
- Understand how agile approaches fit to the expectations of a process assessment model (PAM)
- Prepare to leverage processes expected by automotive industry
- Implement agile best practices while achieving Automotive SPICE expectations
- Resolve common misunderstandings about how to implement and assess relevant base practices in agile environments
- Learn how Agile SPICE can help bridge Automotive SPICE® processes Understand the agile interpretation of engineering and supporting processes

The training will cover the following topics:
- How to keep existing capabilities while moving toward agile approaches
- Standard terminology for assessing agile practices
- Harmonized interpretations of existing SPICE processes in agile work environments
- Aligning ratings between classical and agile approaches
Target audience
This training is designed for intacs®-certified Automotive SPICE® assessors of all levels. For Competent and Principal levels, this training is a prerequisite for leading an assessment using Agile SPICE®.
Prerequisites
To attend this training, the participant must be an intacs®-certified Automotive SPICE® Provisional Assessor.
Examination
This training leads to the Agile SPICE® exam. The exam is performed by the ECQA; we charge an exam fee on behalf of ECQA.
Further information
- After the participant passes the exam, they will receive a certification of competence. If the participant has a base PAM certification (Process Expert, Provisional Assessor, Competent Assessor, Principal Assessor), they will receive an updated assessor card with an AGL mark.
