method park representative Elected to Leadership of Special Interest Group

Uwe Hehn, senior consultant of method park Software AG Erlangen, was elected into the leadership committee of the Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V.’s special interest group “Test, Analysis and Verification of Software” at the SIG’s 19th meeting. His new tasks include setting the main points of emphasis for the organisation of meetings and select professional papers.

At present, the Gesellschaft für Informatik has about 24 000 members from all areas of science, computer science industry, application, research, and education. Its goal is the promotion of computer science through the provision of forums for communication and exchange of experience, cooperation in norms, standards, and validations in the runup to legislative planning, and the advancement of the new generation of academics.

In this circle of specialists, Uwe Hehn has made a name for himself in the area of software tests, especially the testing of Embedded Systems. He has worked in this area for many years and has been a convincing speaker at national and international IT conferences and the Gesellschaft für Informatik.

Prof. Dr. Bernd Hindel, chairman of the board of directors of method park Software AG, congratulated Hehn on this success. “The election of Uwe Hehn emphasizes the nationally acknowledged competence of method park Software AG”, said Hindel.
