Talk in the Park - ISO 26262 - 2nd Amendment - Everything remains new?

In 2011, the first edition of ISO 26262 "Road Vehicles - Functional Safety" came into force. Since then, the automotive industry has made many efforts to adapt the existing development processes to the new requirements. In recent years, the following justified questions have been frequently asked: Are the ISO 26262 requirements compatible with Automotive SPICE® and how to design development processes that meet both standards?

 

The second amendment of ISO 26262 came into force in 2018. It has both an extended scope (trucks, buses, and motorcycles) and more content (e.g., two new volumes and new topics in existing volumes).

 

This talk gives you an overview of the second ISO 26262 amendment’s influence on the processes in the VDA scope of Automotive SPICE®.
