Webasto is a leading world-wide supplier to the automotive industry. With key competences in the development of roof, sun roof and bus hatch systems as well as heating, cooling and ventilation systems for passenger cars, trucks and buses. Based in Stockdorf near Munich, Webasto is present in 27 countries and with manufacturing plants in 15. About 70 per cent of revenue is generated by the roof range and approx. 30 per cent come from the Thermo-system product lines.

method park supports Webasto’s software development with a highly qualified workforce throughout the software life cycle: From requirements analysis, software design, implementation of embedded systems with UML right up to initiation of prototypes. Webasto’s development and application of test frameworks for software testing was firmly supported through test development and test execution phases. The consultation in software process improvement with CMMI and HIS-SPICE by the method park consulting team was a further successful undertaking, which resulted in positive feedback from car manufacturers.
