The Highlights
- Document management is achieved via document workflows. These are established automatically by means of project-specific, tailored processes and lifecycles.
- Project results, including their status and history, are managed in existing version management systems (e.g. IBM Rational ClearCase, MKS Source Integrity, Telelogic SynergyCM, Serena Professional – PVCS Version Manager, CVS, Subversion) or directly in project kit.
- Maintaining an overview of all modifications is hassle-free.
- Any updates are forwarded immediately via email to all relevant people.
- Review of project results is greatly simplified, e.g. according to the “second-set-of-eyes” principle.
- The consistent use of web technologies facilitates global collaboration via intranet, extranet and the Internet. Including integration in SAP NetWeaver portals.
- Process changes, such as the assignment of documents to roles or the alteration of activities, are implemented directly in the Product Lifecycle Management.
- Microsoft Office® documents may be processed directly in project kit via WebDAV.
- Updated project information may be accessed quickly and easily using filters. For example, the status of a document or the version label of a file is available at any time.

Print Export & Other Export Options | A customizable print export of the entire process can be generated. In addition Stages provides export options to Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and XML. |
Import Options | Processes that were modelled with the ARIS Toolset by IDS Scheer can be imported and enhanced in Stages. |
Synchronization Of User Data | The user information used by Stages can be synchronized with LDAP directories (e.g. Microsoft ActiveDirectory, OpenLDAP). This means that project kit users can use their regular user name and password. |
