With outstanding system components and engineering achievements for vehicle safety and comfort, Continental Automotive Systems (CAS) is well established within the International Automotive Industry. Within CAS the electronics specialists from Continental Temic and Continental Teves manufacture electronic and hydraulic brakes -, stability and chassis monitoring systems, electronic pneumatic spring systems and sensor technology.

Central to a process orientated approach is to establish "alive" processes and pass them through a cycle of continuous improvement. Consequently it is important to ensure that process information is accessible quickly and clearly to all project members at anytime. In order to meet these requirements, Continental Temic and Continental Teves began to standardize their existing software development processes, and then live these processes in future projects across different locations. Professional project support was provided by Method Park consultants and the process management tool project kit (parent product of Stages).
