Prof. Dr. Bernd Hindel studied computer science in Erlangen-Nuremberg and Green Bay (USA). After his doctorate at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 1991, he worked for the Central Research and Development Department of Siemens in Erlangen. From 1995 to 2000 he was Managing Director of a SME Software Company. He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Method Park Software AG since 2001. Under his leadership Method Park received several prices i.e.: TOP JOB 2004 (innovative human resource management), IHK Founders Price 2005, Bavaria’s Best 50 (fastest growing companies). In addition Bernd Hindel is a Lecturer for Software Engineering at the University of Erlangen and the Automotive University of Volkswagen, Wolfsburg. Bernd Hindel is the founder of the ASQF e.V. (Association for Software Quality and Training). He was President of the ASQF from 1996 to 2007. Bernd Hindel is the founder of iNTACS e.V. (international Assessor Certification Scheme for SPICE Assessors). He was President of iNTACS from 2003 to 2005, now he is a member of the advisory board of iNTACS. As a member of DIN Institute, Bernd Hindel is the chairman for Software and System-Engineering Standards and the head of delegation representing Germany at ISO/IEC JTC1 SC7. Since 2003 he is the German representative at the ISO Working Group 10 responsible for the definition of SPICE. To date Bernd Hindel has been Keynote Speaker and/or Organising Chair of several international Conferences on Software Quality, including the 3rd World Congress on Software Quality, Munich, 2005. Bernd Hindel published numerous papers and books on software engineering.

Dr. Meier studied computer science at the University of Nuremberg-Erlangen where he also achieved a doctorate as the chair for distributed systems and operating systems on the topic of scaleable distributed systems.

Parallel to graduation he was active in configuration technology and took part in development and sales of an information system for universities. In May 2001 Dr. Meier began working for method park Software AG. Since 2004 he led research & development department and in doing so managed the development of the Web-based process management portal "project kit". As of January 2007 Erich Meier was appointed to the executive committee of method park Software AG. Assuming the position as CTO he is responsible for "product development", "content development", "process modeling & roll out" and "training & consulting" departments.
